《瓦尔登湖》中显示出的东方文化色彩主要表现为梭罗对庄子思想的体悟、认同与阐发,具体表现为:《瓦尔登湖》与《庄子》在创作风格的形、神之似,在"回归自然"、"天人合一"观念指导下对生存本质、人性解放的执着追问与追求,以及二人在精神追求、理想追求、人格追求诸境界的高度一致,使得他们在其著作中达成的心灵追求、人格魅力以至世界影响的相同相近。
Abstract：The oriental culture in Walden is expressed by Thoreau's appreciation,agreement and explication on Chuang Tzu's thoughts,which is concretely embodied as follows: Walden and Chuang Tzu have the similarities in writing style;both of them persist in inquiring and pursuing nature of human existence and liberation of humanities under the guide of "return of nature" and "harmony between heaven and human being";Chuang Tzu and Thoreau have a high degree of consensus in their spiritual,idealistic and personality pursuit.All above makes possible the achievement of the similarities in their spiritual pursuit and force of personality in the works,and even their influence on the world.
