《理想国》"洞穴比喻"中有三个意象:束缚、庇护与上升,分别代表了城邦的三种功用,即城邦对任何公民都有约束、庇护和提升的作用;洞穴比喻也象征着政治、哲学与政治哲学三种知识在城邦中的相互关联及功用。这三种知识构成了城邦健全的基础。
Abstract：There are three images in the metaphor of the cave in Plato's Republic: binding,shielding and promoting,which represent three functions in city-state,that is to say,anyone in the city-state would be bound,shielded and promoted by it.The metaphor of the cave also symbolizes the correlation and the functions of three kinds of knowledge,namely,politics,philosophy and political philosophy.These three kinds of knowledge constitute the foundation of city-state soundness.
